WCVM is also doing a study that is investigating the effect of endurance racing on cardiac biomarkers in horses.  They come out to all of our rides and request our participation.  It is totally voluntary and you can withdraw from the study at any time.  If you decide to take part you will be asked to sign a form and a summary of the results fo this study will be provided to you.  Blood will be drawn from your horse at the pre-race check in, mid race and one hour post race.  It is hoped that the information gained from tihs study can be used the the future to benefit equine athletes.

  • Please fill out one entry form per rider - put N/A for any questions that don't apply to you or that form insists you answer but you don't have a number/answer for.
