Caregivers Book Club Series: Nourish Your Mind, Connect Your Heart
Our Caregivers Book Club will meet once every other month. This space aims to provide a haven where we will carve out time to read a selected book excerpt (no prior reading required!), warm up with a facilitated creative exercise and engage the literature in meaningful discussions.
August 14th Session - Parenting at the Intersections: Raising Neurodivergent Children of Color
A part story-telling, part self-inquiry book, Parenting at the Intersections is a love letter to parents of neurodivergent children of color. The authors Jaya Ramesh and Priya Saaral invite you into a warm and generous space, where many families share their frontline experiences of raising neurodivergent children of color.
We will read a selected chapter in silence during the first 20 min. Join us as we slow down and reflect on our parenting journeys, find soft places to land, to be fully seen and celebrated.
