We are guests in the Community. To protect your safety, and the safety of others, you agree to uphold the following minimum standards:
INTEGRITY: I will be a Role Model to those I work with and serve, treating others with dignity, respect, and worth.

SUBSTANCES: I will not arrive to any event under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

SMOKING/VAPING: I will not smoke or vape while volunteering.

INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE AND BEHAVIOR: I will not use profanity, abusive language, obscene gestures, negative attitude, disruptive behavior, or display intimate or inappropriate physical contact.

EQUALITY: I commit to display non-judgemental attitudes toward differences in culture, race, religious beliefs, identity, living conditions, or life-styles of each person with whom I work and serve.

COOPERATE: I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with Leadership and comply with any safety procedures as directed.

PROPERTY: I will respect the property. Pick up trash, replace items to original locations, report broken items, clean up, keep storage areas organized, etc.

LAW ABIDING: I will abstain from all illegal activity.

VII. Impact in the Community

For the safety and balance of relationships in the community, volunteers agree to the following guidelines:
PHOTOS: I will not upload photos or videos of participants on social media or other platforms unless authorized by CLIMB Leadership.

PERSONAL INFO: I will not exchange contact details with participants and/or their families, including the exchange of phone numbers and following on social media accounts unless authorized by CLIMB Leadership.

GIFTS/MONEY/NEEDS: I will NOT give a gift (new or used) to any participant without prior approval from C.L.I.M.B. Leadership. (Resource book: "When Helping Hurts" by Steve Corbett)
IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY AGREEMENT*

VIII. Personal Safety and Accountability

For the protection of the C.L.I.M.B. volunteers, you agree to the following directives:
- PROPERTY: I will not accompany a participant away from the planned activity area.
- RESIDENCES: I will not enter a participants apartment/residence unless authorized or accompanied by CLIMB Leadership.
- ACCOUNTABILITY: I will not be alone with a participant that is a minor. I will always be with at least one other adult.
- VEHICLES: I will not provide transportation for any participant or their family.
- PERSONAL INFO: I will not ask or exchange contact details with participants and/or their families, including phone numbers and social media accounts, unless authorized by CLIMB Leadership.
- REPORT INJURY: I will report any concerns, issues, incidents of injury directly to CLIMB Leadership immediately.
- REPORT CHILD ABUSE: I will comply with the State of TX mandated reporting in cases of suspected child abuse or neglect. CALL: DFPS Child Abuse Hotline or consult C.L.I.M.B. Leadership.

VIIII. Photo Permission Form

CLIMB has my permission to use photographs of me or my child (a minor under 18 years of age) taken during CLIMB activities for use on their website or other promotional material. These pictures may be posted on social media platforms as well as used for marketing and promotions.
