  • New EU regulations require OEM's and battery suppliers to implement a Battery Passport by February 2027. TNO recognizes that SME's need more information on this and how to integrate it into products, processes and IT-systems. To adress this, we plan to launch a project soon, supported by TKI subsidy, to help companies build knowledge, tackle implementation challenges, and establish a first Battery Passport system.

  • Would you be interested in being contacted to explore participation in this TKI initiative?
  •
TNO has been involved in various Battery Passport projects, including translating legislation into specific requirements for a compliant Battery Database and developing a proof-of-concept implementation. We are organizing a Sounding Board Meeting on October 10th to discuss Battery Passport developments and results from the GTD-E projects. The meeting will include an overview of current initiatives, a presentation of our test case, and interactive sessions to explore challenges and needs.
