In partnership with Recreation New Brunswick we will be hosting the East Coast Arena Training (ECAT) Level 1 course at the Eliyahu Wellness Centre Canada Games Place in North Rustico, Prince Edward Island on June 12th & 13th.
Recreation NB is offering the Level 2 Course - Date TBD
Level 1 Course: Covers the basic fundamentals of arena operations necessary for you to do your job properly, safely, and as efficiently as possible. Ideal for arena staff with limited experience or no formal training, as well as facility managers, recreation directors, Board members, etc. who are responsible for the efficient operation of an ice rink facility.
A Certificate of Participation will be presented to those who complete the course.

11:30 am – Noon: Plant Walkthrough
Noon – 1:00 pm: Lunch (On Your Own)
1:30 pm – 3:45 pm: Classroom (Ice Resurfacer Section)
3:45 – 5:00 pm: Ice Resurfacer Walkthrough
