Clinic available for all area young adults in grades 8-12 (In the 25-26 school year). The camps are at our boathouse on the west side of Crystal Lake. Full details of the camp will follow after registration is confirmed. Please email recruiting@crystallakerowing.org if you have questions before signing up. Please attend all dates. No refunds or make up sessions are offered.
The cost is $240 OR if you sign up two rowers, one session will be 50% off.

There is always a possibility of boats tipping over. Please acknowledge that your rower is able to recover from a submersion, swim confidently in deep water, and can maintain a tread for at least 10 minutes.*

Yes, my minor is a confident deep water swimmer as described above.No, my child is not ready to try LTR due to swimming ability and I would like help in helping them find resources to develop that skill.
All dates are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings 6:00-8:00 PM & Saturday mornings 6:30-8:30 AM. I prefer the following session:*

By participating in rowing with the Crystal Lake Rowing Club, I agree to abide by in spirit and in practice the following conditions for participating from the onset to the conclusion of my active participation for myself or my minor rower for whom I am legally responsible.

1.) I currently have no known physical or mental condition that would impair my capability for full participation as intended and expected or me.

2.) I understand and appreciate that participating in rowing, despite all reasonable precautions implemented for my safety as a participant, carries a risk of serious injury, including death. I also understand and appreciate that controlling the risk is a responsibility that as a participant I must share. Consequently, I voluntarily assume the risk of injury resulting from my participation.

3.) I hereby release and by this writing do for my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns release, discharge, and forever waive any cause of actions, suits, claims, and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, which I may have or which my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, or assigns may hereafter have against the Crystal Lake Rowing Club, Crystal Lake Park District, US Rowing, their officers, directors, or advisors, any affiliate group, or any individual or entity holding legal title to any property or premises upon which organized rowing activities are conducted.

4.) I agree to abide by the general rules of conduct prescribed for participation in this activity.

5.) I agree to release all photos and videos of the above mentioned people for use in social media and promotional material

6.) I agree to assume financial responsibility for any health or other personal loss incurred while participating in rowing activities that are not covered by my insurance and other insurance coverage that may be provided to all participants in these activities.

7.) I give consent to CLRC and its coaches and officers to authorize emergency medical care for my minor in the case I can not be reached.

I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it and have signed it freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature and intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid, the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force.

Please check for an emailed invoice for the $240 registration fee within 48 hours of submitting this form. A spot in camp is NOT guaranteed until payment is made. Directions for joining USRowing will be emailed after we confirm your payment. A US Rowing membership is required for insurance purposes. CLRC MUST have your US Rowing membership information before camp to participate. Please note that due to limited space no refunds or rescheduling will be given.
