ACE’s Consultancy and Engineering Awards is the country’s foremost celebration of industry excellence, with construction firms small and large from the built environment celebrating their people and projects.

Awarded to a talented individual apprentice who has shown outstanding progress and commitment to their own personal development, is progressing on a recognised training scheme with an organisation working in the built environment, and who has made a positive difference to that business.

You will be registered on (or completed in the last 12 months) an apprenticeship in the engineering sector working at an employer and spending a portion of time on training. This award is open to apprenticeships at all levels above the first year.

Step 1

Check your business complies with the entry criteria. Any consulting firm that meets the entry criteria is eligible to enter the Engineering and Consultancy Awards 2024.

Step 2

Appoint a lead from within your company to be your central point of contact throughout the awards programme. Their role will include coordinating entries, interviews and dinner guests for the Awards Gala Dinner where the winners will be announced.

Step 3

Review the categories and decide which category is most suitable for either your project or Individual – remember your can enter as many categories as you like.

Step 5

Submit your written entry, and supporting documentation by Monday 30 September. 

Step 6

Stage 1 Judging

Each entry is checked to ensure compliance with entry criteria, then entries are reviewed and marked by member of our judging panel who will score each entry against specific judging criteria.

Stage 2 Judging (individual only)

All are asked to attend an interview.

Step 7

The shortlist will be announced on Wednesday 6 November. All entrants will be notified of the status of their entry.

Step 8

Final results will be announced at the main Awards Ceremony & Dinner Event on Thursday 30 January, at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. To Book Now visit https://bit.ly/3z0czWn

The judges will be looking for:

• Apprentices that have demonstrated success of an innovative solution to improve engineering.
• Evidence of the ambassador roles undertaken to promote careers engineering.
