Seven grants will be awarded @ $20,000 each. Selection will take place in June 2026. Half of the grant funding ($10,000) will be distributed at that time and the remaining ($10,000) will be distributed after six months.
Funding may be used to further your organization’s goals and/or assist individuals impacted by the criminal legal system. Grants may support sustainability efforts, capacity building, an innovative strategy or new pilot, or general operations.
Proposals will be evaluated based upon the following criteria:
Mission and Vision Alignment - Proposals should clearly demonstrate how the organization’s mission and vision align with reentry work. Priority will be given to organizations that show a strong, sustained commitment to supporting individuals transitioning from incarceration, including evidence of past or current initiatives in this area.
Project Design and Innovative Use of Funds - The proposal must include a well-structured project plan that outlines specific goals, target population, and expected outcomes. Reviewers will assess the creativity, feasibility, and potential impact of the proposed activities. Innovative or community-informed approaches that address critical reentry challenges are highly encouraged.
