The decision to award the scholarship will be determined by a committee made up of members of the Illinois Public Health Association and staff. The committee’s decision will be based on a composite evaluation of the student’s application, qualifications and the availability of funds. If awarded, the student must maintain regular enrolled student status during each semester of the award and must not be on scholastic probation, leave of absence, or registered in absentia. Failure to meet these conditions may result in termination of the scholarship. At the discretion of the committee, the scholarship may be reinstated once the student regains regular student status and/or adequately corrects any academic deficiencies.
Upon selection and verification of enrollment, the Illinois Public Health Association will process the scholarship funds directly to the Financial Aid/Bursar of the recipient's college or university.
