    The course will be a hybrid format with some in-person workshop days and some online meetings and activities. (A fully-online version is available to accommodate interested homeschool students outside of Tucson).

    Program Details

    Who: Any homeschool student in Arizona or any student who does not have a science fair program at their school. This includes students who take online courses and ESA-eligible students

    When: Mondays 9am to 10am 

    In-Person Class Dates: June 17th, 24th, July 8th, 22nd, August 5th and 19th (virtual-only students will attend these classes through conferencing)

    Online Class Dates: July 1st, 15th, 29th, August 12th (all students attend these class dates through conferencing)

    **Class mode (online or in-person) subject to changes depending on student and instructor needs**

    Cost: $400 (cost covers the full 10-week program including weekly supplies)

    *Quest is an ESA-eligible vendor and ESA reimbursment forms may be used to cover program cost. A small scholarship is availible for non-ESA-eligible students (information later in form)*

    Quest requires insurance information for all students dropped off for courses on-site. If you are a student selecting the virtual-only course option because you live outside of Tucson you may skip this page. Students in Tucson for the hybrid course option must complete the questions below.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    The cost of this program is $400. This program is elegible for ESA funding.

    A non-refundable deposit of $50 will apply for all registrations. This is to cover cost of the workbook.

    If you determine after registration that this program is not correct for you or your student(s) at this time, please tell us at least 7 days before the course start date (course starts June 17th). 

    If you drop or withdraw from the course before this date you are elegible to receive a refund (except for the non-refundable deposit amount). Students who drop or withdraw from the course after this will forefit the cost of the course and will not be elegible for a course cost refund.

  • Program Cost: $400

    This cost covers the full 10-week program including a copy of the course workbook and weekly supplies. Cost also helps fund Grant Awards for elegible student science fair projects.

    *Quest is an ESA-eligible vendor and ESA reimbursment forms may be used to cover program cost. Individuals are responsible for completing the reimbursment application

    A small scholarship is availible for non-ESA-eligible students. This scholarship covers half of the course cost.

    The Jumpstart Scholarship is only available for students who do not receive ESA funding. If your student is eligible and you wish to apply for a scholarship please fill in the questions below.

  • Students who recieve ESA funding are not eligible for the scholarship. Please proceed to the next page.
