Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Girl Scouts Love State Parks Sep 13 - 15, 2024!
Registration for the event and for volunteer submissions ends September 4, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
We are looking for volunteers that are interested in providing a 45 minute to 2 hour long activity on Saturday or Sunday or to be the Point of Contact (run check in and patch distribution, answer some onsite questions). We are expecting 10 - 50 people per park. Not all people will participate in each program.
Volunteers must provide their own program supplies; some items like paper / cardstock, markers, practice knives for knife safety, or example backpacks for showing how to pack a backpacking backpack may be provided from the Girl Scout Council. If you're requesting some supplies, please leave a comment in the final box on this form.
A Check In Packet will be made for each Point of Contact with roster, patches, wristbands, FAQ sheet, name tag, and signs. A table is not required but may be helpful if you have one. Packets will be made available for pick up at the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails Council offices (4000 Jefferson Plaza NE, Abq, 87109) after registration closes. If you need your packet delivered, we will dicuss the best way to get it to you.
