WELCOME

BelizeIFF 2024 is a competitive festival open to films produced between Jan. 1st, 2022 and June 30th, 2024. It does not charge entry fees nor pay screening fees. It has six categories of which the following four are open to filmmakers from any country: 1. Feature Length Narratives, 2. Shorts, 3. Feature Length Documentaries and 4. Short Docs. The other two categories are 5. Student Films - a regional category open only to students currently enrolled at Caribbean or Central American film schools or programs & 6. Music Videos open only to Belizean directors working with Belizean musical artists. The Music Video entries are submitted on a different form. SCREENER SUBMISSION

After submitting this application form, send an email with the link to your screener and any passwords if necessary to belizeiffsubmissions@gmail.com directly. We are not allowed to collect any log in credentials on this form.

OFFICIAL SELECTION PROJECTION FORMAT

All films selected to be a part of the 2024 OFFICIAL SELECTION should be prepared to forward additional production info, publicity stills and a downloadable digital file with the following specifications:

FILE SIZE: 1920 x 1080p h.264 @Mbps
FILE TYPE: .mp4 and/or .mov
AUDIO CHANNEL: Stereo AAC
SIZE: less than 10GB
