The Seaway Valley Spartans is a group for children and youth with autism and other developmental differences to have the opportunity to play, explore, develop fitness, coordination, and social skills in a team environment. This program is designed for children who are not able to play regular house league hockey, due to their disability.
Operating as a registered not for profit organization, Seaway Valley Spartans will collect registration fees to help cover the overhead costs of ice rentals, insurance, and uniforms, but we will also look to sponsors and fundraisers to keep those costs as minimal as possible for families involved.
The fee for this program is $150, and payment can be made by e-transfer to seawayvalleyspartans@outlook.com. Official receipts will be issued that may currently be used for SSAH funding. If a family needs assistance, please reach out.
Participants will require complete hockey equipment. We will be planning a used hockey equipment drive in hopes to outfit as many kids as possible.
If you require assistance, please reach out to us at seawayvalleyspartans@outlook.com.
