• 2024 Taiko Census

    The primary purpose of the 2024 Taiko Census is to glean a better understanding of North America’s taiko population, including players, teachers and other community members, through investigating its composition (overall size, demographics, and taiko group affiliations) and the behaviors, motivations and needs of its members. However, we welcome the international taiko community to participate in this census as well to help measure to what extent the trends we identify impact the taiko community on a global scale.

    This section will ask you questions about Basic Information, Demographics, Personal Taiko Experience, Economic Behavior, and your personal Taiko Biography. Please note that not all questions are required, and all of your responses will be anonymized for any reporting or analysis conducted by the Taiko Community Alliance (TCA). This information will not be sold or used for any purpose other than for TCA programs.

As part of the Census, TCA tries to get as many responses as possible to make sure we are accurately representing the taiko community. If you could please share three taiko contacts with us so that we may invite them to participate in the Census as well, it would be greatly appreciated. These emails will only be used for Taiko Census outreach unless noted otherwise by the recipients.
