2024 Scholarship Application

The J.F. Goodwin Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to 2024 graduating high school students from Liberty or Freedom High Schools, Bethlehem, PA who exemplify high scholastic standards as well as financial need.

Additionally, the J.F. Goodwin Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to sophomore, junior and senior undergraduate students who exemplify high scholastic standards and financial need.

Deadline: May 31, 2024
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be a resident of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
- Applicants must be a 2024 graduating high school student.
- Applicants must attend Liberty or Freedom High School
- Applicants must be African American
- Applicants must be completing high school successfully with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must be accepted as a full-time student at a college or university for the upcoming 2024 – 2025 academic year. If scholarship money is awarded, this is the only program that will receive the funds on behalf of the applicant. Proof of enrollment will be required from the recipient.
- Show evidence of academic and personal motivation, good character, and potential for successful matriculation at an accredited four-year college or university
- Applicants must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
- Applicants must complete and submit a Scholarship Application.
