2024 MIND/FULL Workshop Registration
for PARENTS
*Our Teen/Tween and Parent MIND/FULL workshops are held concurrently on the same date and at the same time, however the groups will be utilizing separate areas of the farm. They are not participating TOGETHER in the same workshop. Don't worry, we have plenty of space! We received feedback that it would be easier for parents to attend at the same time their kids are attending, so we are making that adjustment for 2024. If you have any questions or concerns, email us at info@equuvation.org.*
Our MIND/FULL for PARENTS workshops are nature-based and equine-facilitated experiences intentionally designed to hold space for full minds in trying times (those navigating parenting challenges, stress management, anxiety, life changes, traumatic events and more).
Promoting communication, healthy relationships, boundaries, conflict resolution, self-care, self-awareness and more, MIND/FULL for PARENTS workshops offer unique, safe, inclusive and non-judgmental opportunities for those in *parenting roles of all kinds* to find the support they need and want. Led by our compassionate clinical team, MIND/FULL provides a safe space for those who have experienced trauma, DV, separation/divorce, custody challenges, grief, loss, adoption, parenting neurodivergent and/or disabled children, and much more.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Hands-on equine-assisted learning (EAL) activities with our horses and donkeys
• Nature-immersion activities such as hiking, kayaking and exploring
• Mindfulness opportunities like yoga with donkeys, gardening, journaling prompts and skills development that can be applied to a variety of family situations
• Creative projects (painting, sculpting, coloring, etc)
• Community (with other parents*)
Cost for each 3-hour workshop is: $45. A $10 deposit for each event with this form will hold the spot. Deposit is fully refundable if the event does not take place.
Minimum of 5 participants required to hold the date.
[*Parenting roles include, but are not limited to: biological, kinship, guardianship, adoptive, foster, grandparents, etc.]
