The Core Curriculum consists of courses in a broad range of disciplines—literature, languages, art, music, history, philosophy, religion, mathematics, and natural and social sciences. These courses are a required part of every major and you will be placed in courses where available/that match your major. An option for first-year students is to take a Freshman Seminar (read the course descriptions here) to replace on of your CORES—if interested, you may select your preference below. If you are not interested in any of thse options, please select N/A.
