FOR GIRLS GOING INTO 7TH-8TH GRADES FROM CHESTERTON AREA SCHOOLS.
SUMMER LEAGUE INFORMATION

GAME DATES & TIMES: June Game time ranges from 5pm to 8pm. We will usually play 2 games per night. Due to the new IHSAA restrictions on the amount of nights high school teams play, we will playing all games in our league one night a week only with multiple games being played that night so that we have more school teams to play.

WHO: Girls who attended any school in Chesterton area and are going into 7th and 8th grades.

LOCATION OF GAMES:  Chesterton High School Gyms & The Boys and Girls Club if 8 courts are needed.

COST: The cost to play in the league is $160.00. This includes weekly June Skills Academy Sessions from 8-9:30 am at Chesterton Middle School included in the fee.

SKILL WORK AND PRACTICE FROM 8-9:30AM AT CHESTERTON MIDDLE SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Players registering for the league will automatically be registered for our June Summer Skills Academy Session 1. We will work on offensive and defensive skills during this time.

LEVELS: There are three levels of play: Junior League: For middle school players, Senior League: For Freshman-JV Level of players, and Open League: For Varsity Level Players.

COACHES:  Will be provided by the Chesterton Girls Program.

UNIFORMS FOR GAMES:  School reversible or skills academy reversible will be worn.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM GAMES: Parents will need to provide transportation to and from games for their child.

SCHEDULES: Schedules will be posted weekly on our team app and on chestertongirlsbasketball.org site.

As the legal parent or guardian, in the event of illness or accident, I give consent for Chesterton Girls Basketball LLC, tand members of the Chesterton High School Girls Basketball Coaching Staff to secure any and all necessary emergency medical care for my child. The undersigned gives permission to Chesterton Girls Basketball, its owners and operators and members of the Chesterton High School Girls Basketball Coaching staff to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian.*
