Property owner is responsible for ensuring that each unit has reliable, functional internet access.Establishing internet service for multiple units under a single non-conforming address can be challenging, particularly when working with a single service provider. However, with patience and persistence, service can typically be established.
Ensure the service provider’s unit labels exactly match the unit designations used by ownership and management (e.g., Unit 1 / Unit 2 / Unit 3 must not be labeled as Unit A / B / C by the service provider)
If the owner is unable to successfully establish reliable, unit-specific internet service for all units due to address constraints or service provider limitations, then the default requirement applies: Property owners of non-conforming multifamily properties establish and maintain a single, shared Wi-Fi service for the property.
