The Panorama Hills Community Centre encourages the participation of volunteers who support the enrichment of the community of Panorama Hills. If you are 12 or older and want to make a positive impact through special events and programs in the area, we would like to invite you to become a part of our volunteer team. As a volunteer, we will credit your hours to any required volunteer programs through school or other organizations and provide letters of recommendations based on your performance. Questions? In consideration of the Youth Volunteer being permitted to participate in the volunteer activity or program, the parent/guardian legally authorized to provide consent on behalf of the youth volunteer understands and consents to the following:
- The participating child is a volunteer and not an employee of the PHRA. I acknowledge and agree that the nature of the volunteer services typically performed by the PHRA volunteers may involve potential risk of injury. I willingly and freely assume any and all risk in connection with my child's efforts or participation, including and without limitation, risk of any accident or injury to person or property which they may sustain in connection with their participation as a volunteer or in any related project or activity.
- Any information collected, used, and stored will be strictly confidential and will only be used in the matters related to the volunteer duties.
- As a volunteer for the PHRA, all volunteers will be provided with a safety orientation and you agree to abide by the safety rules of the PHRA.
- In all activities associated with the PHRA, we expect our volunteers to uphold the highest standards of respect and courtesy towards all individuals and property, reflecting the values of our community.
