  • When you help under-served kids do better in school, you can change the course of their lives. We strongly believe relationships really matter. That’s why at the Southeast Community Foundation (SCF), you’ll work in small groups with the same students each week to help them reach their goals. The subjects we tutor in are English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. K-12th grades.

  • This application should take about 10 minutes to complete.

    A few notes:

    • We are hiring for the 2026 Spring semester (through mid-May 2026).
    • A bachelor's degree required, teaching certificate a plus.
    • Previous experience teaching or tutoring in ELA or math highly preferred.
    • Experience working with small groups of students highly preferred.
    • Must be able to test negative for TB and pass a LiveScan background check. All hiring expenses (LiveScan, TB testing, Mandated Reporter training) are covered by SCF. 
    • Bilingual skills a plus.
    • A fun attitude with the ability to go the extra mile for our students is a must!
