About Helium

Helium is a new product developed by VoicePoint - a certified Nuance developer partner - and is sold as an optional “add-on” module to the Nuance Dragon Medical One. 

The Helium will allow you to continue your subscription and profile for Dragon Medical One managed by VoiceX.  The Helium module will allow you to run the Helium Dragon Bar natively on your Mac computer/s – without needing any 3rd party partitioning software such as Parallels.

If you do not have a Dragon Medical One subscription managed by VoiceX we will set one up for this trial.

Helium for Dragon Medical One Trial Process

A VoiceX team member will contact you shortly to arrange a suitable time to remotely assist you with setting up your Helium bar on your Mac.  This will automatically be associated with your existing Dragon Medical One profile managed by VoiceX.  We will create one for you if you do not have a valid profile.

Please note that the Helium module will not connect to the PowerMic mobile app therefore you will require a suitable dictation microphone.  Helium supports the following dictation microphones;

• Nuance PowerMic 4
• Olympus RecMic RM-4010P
• Philips SpeechMike Pro Premium 3700
• Philips SpeechMike Premium Air 4000

If you do not have a suitable microphone, you can use your computer's or laptop's internal microphone for the trial. Please note however this may affect the quality of accuracy.  Our team will be happy to assist you with your microphone options.
