By making this booking you are agreeing to the terms of the booking and the amounts due for that term.
Payment and Booking Period
Once we have received your booking instruction we will invoice you for the first month and for the production cost. If you have provided your own audio advert the production cost will not be charged.
You will be invoiced monthly from the time your advert begins to broadcast for the remaining months of your booking. The period of your booking is fixed and forms an agreement between Leighton Buzz Radio and your organisation.
Radio Production
To ensure the best quality production for your audio we use a specialist agency. Once the script is decided and you have chosen the voice you would like this will go off to production and we will have your advert back to you, usually within 7-10 days. Unless there is an error on our part in the script recording we are unable to make changes to the advert at this point without incurring additional costs.
Starting Your Broadcast
It usually takes approximately a month to complete production and upload to the station general play rotation. As soon as your payment is received and production is approved our objective is to get you onto the station as quickly as possible and we can confirm to you when this is done.
Sponsored Shows
We will discuss with you the choice of shows available for sponsorship and pick the show that fits you best however, all our presenters are volunteers and so from time to time shows are no longer available and in the rare time when that happens we will need to switch your sponsorship to an alternative show. We will make suggestions based on your preferences.
Our Structure
Leighton Buzz Radio is a not-for-profit organisation operation as an Unincorporated Association. Any revenue produced goes towards the costs of running the station and delivering our aims.
Cancellation
Because of cost and level of administration involved the minimum periods apply as stated at the top of the booking form. If you decide that you don't wish to proceed prior to broadcast commencement then production costs of £56 and the first month of your booking will be retained. Once broadcast has commenced the full term of your booking is payable.
Prices
Due to production costs being outsourced we reserve the right to increase the price of producing your advert in line with these costs. In this instance you will be notified of the increase prior to proceeding with your booking.
