We understand the deep bond our guests share with their furry companions, including service animals. We have several of our own and aim to create a welcoming environment for all. The following guidelines are designed to ensure the well-being of all animals, while prioritizing the comfort and safety of our guests and staff. With your cooperation, we hope you and your furry friend have a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We love animals, and these common sense guidelines will protect our employees, guests, visitors and the property we work hard to keep well maintained & pet friendly.
- If something in this policy does not fit your animal please reach out and we'd be happy to discuss.
- Please make payment prior to your arrival so that we can properly prepare for your visit. Payment after your arrival will increase to $75. You can make payment HERE. This does not apply to ADA service animals.
- We do not have designated pet walk areas, so please be courteous and clean up after your pet. Use “doggie doo” bags & dispose of pet waste in cans located around the property.
- Though very rare, if necessary we may charge an additional fee for the cost of excessive cleaning (carpet cleaning, excessive furring, etc).
Note: Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages reserves the right to refuse to accommodate and to evict any animal that it determines, in its sole opinion, may create a hazard or disturbs the quiet enjoyment to its guests, employees, or property.

I Release and Agree to Hold Harmless, Indemnify, and Defend The BSW Rentals LLC, otherwise known as Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages, together with their past or present officers, directors, employees, agents, attorneys, insurers, affiliated companies, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, lawsuits, actions, debts, bills, judgments, arising from or related to my animals presence at Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages. I ALSO UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT SAID RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT IS LEGALLY BINDING UPON ME, MY HEIRS AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES AND I VOLUNTARILY SIGN THIS DOCUMENT WITHOUT RESERVATION.

2. I understand that excessive barking or other disruptive behavior by my animal(s) that unreasonably disturbs the peace and quiet of other guests may result in a request to remove them from the premises.

3. I agree not to leave my pet unattended in any way that could result in damage to the cabin or its furnishings. This includes using a bedroom or bathroom as a substitute for a crate. If you normally crate your pet, please bring a crate. If you don’t crate your pet, we trust that, based on your knowledge of your pet, it will not cause any damage to its surroundings while you are away.

4. I will keep my animal(s) leashed or otherwise contained when outdoors. This is especially important if your animals are not used to wildlife (bears, bobcats, etc) & farm animals such as ducks, chickens and goats.
