48 Hour Play FUNdraiser

From Paper to Stage - Two Days to Play
The Alcazar Theatre is excited to announce its upcoming 48-Hour Play FUNdraiser. Teams of 5-10 participants will compete to create a short play in just 48 hours! The fundraiser will take place from May 30 to June 1, and all money raised will support the Alcazar's Live Theatre and the Alcazar Ensemble. Participants can choose between two options: Bring your team ($85 per team) or join as an individual ($20) and get assigned to a group. 20% discount if you register by May 10!

The festival will kick off on May 30 at 7:00 pm, announcing a keyword
and a prop that must be included in each play. On May 31 at 7:00 pm, the script will be handed over to the director and actors to begin blocking, staging, and memorizing their play. Finally, on June 1 at 7:00 p.m., it's showtime! Audience members will be given a ballot to pick their favorites, and prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded.
