1. I, {participantName}, release Culture Shock Curators, including Tanisha R Dozier and the Town of Kingstree and all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition either at Kellahan Park or at any other location in which Yoga in the Park is held, in the case of injury or physical harm or affective harm/discomfort, and any damages. Specifically, I recognize that yoga involves physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. I also recognize that yoga practice may reveal or uncover difficult or painful emotions, and I release Culture Shock Curators, including Tanisha R Dozier and the Town of Kingstree and all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition from liability in this regard. I recognize that this is an outdoor class and as such I am responsible for sun protection and at least adequate hydration for my personal safety and I release Culture Shock Curators, including Tanisha R Dozier and the Town of Kingstree and all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition from any injury or damages related to sun exposure. I hereby release Culture Shock Curators, including Tanisha R Dozier and the Town of Kingstree and all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition from any litigation expenses, attorney’s fees, losses, liability, damages, or other costs that may incur as a result of such a claim. *
2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any yoga class, including classes held outdoors in varying temperatures. I represent and warrant I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in any yoga class. I understand the unique conditions of all yoga classes, including warm and hot yoga classes and have permission from my doctor to fully participate. *
3. In consideration of being permitted to participate in any class at Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages (known or unknown), which I might incur as a result of my participation in any style of yoga class. *
4. I, my heirs, and/or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue for any injury or death caused by negligence or other acts. *
5. If I am pregnant, I acknowledge and agree that I have consulted with a physician prior to taking any yoga class offered by any and all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition and I agree to notify instructors of my condition. I understand the inherent risks in a yoga class, or any physical activity, and acknowledge my release of all instructors associated with Yoga in the Park – Kingstree Edition from any and all liability associated with my pregnancy. *
