*Owner specifically represents that he/she is the owner of the kenneled dog or has been authorized by the Owner of the Dog to enter this Contract as the Owner’s agent.* Owner agrees to pay the boarding rate for all services at time of check in. Owner is aware that the Kennel only accepts payment by Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash app or Check ($45 charge to NSF Checks). Rates are subject to change
*Owner understands and agrees that dog shall not leave the kennel until all charges are paid. Owner is aware that if the date and/or time of pick up is extended without prior approval there will be an additional charge on top of the extra night(s) fee.*Should Owner fail to bring dog food for their Pet the Owner agrees to pay a fee of $3.00- $5.00 per day for the Kennel to provide dog food, depending on the size of dog and amount of food given. Owner also understands that a change in food may result in diarrhea
*Rare event of diarrhea, owner is aware that kennel uses Pepto-Bismol or pumpkin to help provide relief. Both are safe for animals and are recommended by veterinarians.*Owner understands that kennel staff is not a veterinarian or registered veterinary technician. Kennel does not board and any pets with medical conditions other than those stable with oral medication. If the dog needs daily medication, to be administered by the Kennel please be specific on dose and times the medication needs to be administered. We do not charge extra for this service.
*Kennel shall exercise reasonable care for the Pet delivered by the Owner to Kennel for boarding. It is expressly agreed by Owner and Kennel that Kennel’s liability shall in no event exceed fair market value for the Pet boarded. The Owner further agrees to be solely responsible for all acts or behavior of said Pet while it is in the care of the Kennel. Owner agrees to be financially responsible for kennel property damaged by Pet. Reasonable costs for damage will be payable upon pickup of Pet. *Owner understands that once the pet has been dropped off, owner is committed to paying for the entire reservation, regardless of if owner ends up picking pet up early. Owner also understands that reservations can be extended only in case of advanced notice, kennel approval, and availability.
* Owner understands that it is at the kennels discretion to use a bark collar due to continuous barking, outlined by the Continuous Announce Law of 5.01.020 A4 Clackamas County. *Kennel specifically requires all pets be vaccinated against communicable diseases prior to boarding. Kennel reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet that shows signs of illness or that does not meet Kennel vaccine requirements. Despite these precautions, Owner acknowledges that Owner’s pet will be in an environment with other pets during boarding and understands that any pet may harbor and spread a communicable disease. Owner releases Kennel from, and waives all claims and liability against Kennel for, all losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or in connection with any communicable disease contracted by Owner’s pet during boarding.
*Owner understands that the dog park/dog turn out area is only moderately supervised, and kennel is not liable for pets that are jumpers/climbers, diggers or others that can escape dog run enclosures, have behavior problems or bee allergies, eat gravel/rocks, are unstable on uneven surfaces such as gravel/rock, encounter dog shedding parasites(worms), and other such occurrences that can occur in an outdoor setting. *If the Pet becomes ill or if the Pet’s behavior is endangering itself, humans, or other animals, the Kennel, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian. All attempts will be made to contact the Owner of the Pet first, however in the event of an extreme emergency the well-being of the Pet comes first, and appropriate action will be taken. Medication will be administered as necessary under the direction of a veterinarian. The undersigned Owner hereby gives the veterinarian and their assistants complete authority to treat Pet in whatever manner deemed necessary by the veterinarian on duty. The Owner will be responsible for all veterinary charges upon release of the Pet.
*Owner understands that by bringing their dog(s) into an environment where other dogs are present, that the chance of the dog contracting Kennel Cough, or the Flu is present. Although the Kennel Owner does disinfect the kennel daily and closely monitors the health of every dog being boarded, there are no guarantees that Kennel Cough or Flu will not be contracted. With this understanding, the Owner agrees to board their dog(s) and understands that all veterinary costs associated with Kennel Cough, or the Flu will be the responsibility of the Dog Owner and not the Kennel.*All pets are checked for external parasites (fleas/ticks) upon entry to the facility. If any external parasites are found, they will be treated accordingly, and the Owner is responsible for those expenses.
*Owner understands that very old pets may be sensitive to a change in environment and even though personal attention & care is given to all pets, this change in environment may be just enough to encourage an early passing.*Owner understands that we will only give prescribed medications by a licensed veterinarian and only give as prescribed on the bottle. We will not accept dogs that need more than oral or topical medications.
*Owner understands that the Luxury boarding option is for well-behaved dogs that are house trained, crate trained and can get along with other dogs in the house. The Stay and Play option are for dogs that are in an indoor/outdoor kennel and can be turned out and play with other boarders.Owner understands that if you choose the luxury stay or the stay and play option and dog has to be moved to another boarding option, no refunds or discounts are given.*Owner authorizes Kennel to use pictures of their Pet taken while participating in Kennel activities on its website and in other promotional materials.
*Owner understands that extra charges may be added to the bill at discretion of management for special handling or treatment that is above and beyond routine care, i.e. an unexpected bath, etc. Special handling is defined as services beyond our standard boarding care due to behavior problems, excessive accidents, health issues, or other unexpected care not anticipated at the time of check-in. Owner agrees to pay all such charges. *Owner understands that if Pet is not picked up within 14 calendar days after the day dog is scheduled for pick up, pet shall be deemed abandoned. Kennel or the local Humane Society then has the right to place the pet with a new owner. Owner shall remain liable for all boarding fees.
*Owner releases Kennel from, and waives all claims and liability against Kennel for, damage to, or loss of, personal equipment or belongings provided by Owner for pet while the pet is boarded. Items not taken home at checkout will be donated if not picked up within 30 days of check out date.*Owner understands that Kennel reserves the right to refuse service due to pet’s behavior or health, excessive cancellations, no shows, or late arrivals, non-payment, or violations of said contract.
*Owner understands that Kennel will do all it can to ensure that owner’s pet will have a safe and enjoyable boarding experience. Owner releases Kennel and its staff and will hold Kennel and its staff harmless from any liability or loss attributable to death, injury, illness, or loss of pet or from any liability or loss from any acts or condition of pet, including without limitation, damage to property, persons, or animals. In no event shall the liability of Kennel or its staff, even for negligence, gross or otherwise, exceed $300, and Owner will hold Kennel and its staff harmless from any liability or loss in excess of this amount.*If owner's pet is allowed to play with other pets, understand that it is not without risk as some animals may bite or injure each other while playing. Owner waives and releases kennel and its employees, from any and all liability of any nature, for any injury or damage which pet may suffer, including specifically, but not without limitation to, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any pet. If playtime is permitted by the owner, it is at the discretion of the kennel as to which pets may play together based on observed of temperaments by staff.
By signing this agreement, the Owner indicates that he or she has read and accepted all policies listed in this agreement as well as all policies on Kennel’s Schedule of Fees. Owner agrees that this contract is good for multiple stays with no limit in a single calendar year. This Boarding Contract is not limited to the dates listed on this contract. FULL AND FINAL AGREEMENTThe parties agree that this writing represents the entire agreement between them and that no other representations have been made regarding boarding. Any contract disputes will be settled in the County of Clackamas, State of Oregon.
