Nursing Scholarship 2025

Franklin Hospital will be awarding a nursing scholarship to an in-district college student accepted into an associate degree nursing program at a local Southern Illinois college. Franklin Hospital will pay up to $4,000 per semester for four (4) semesters. Students must be in good standing (C or better) to receive each semester scholarship. Passing the NCLEX and obtaining Illinois State Licensure as a Professional Registered Nurse is required after the completion of the nursing program. The nurse will complete a two-year commitment at Franklin Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical Unit, Surgery, or Outpatient Services. If Franklin Hospital does not have an open position in the hospital, the CNO can approve the two-year commitment to be completed in one of its rural health clinics.
