  • Thank you for your interest in applying for the HerWay “Z-Suite” Accelerator Program, sponsored by Bread Financial! Please review the “Z-Suite” Accelerator overview HERE, before completing your application. Now, a couple of quick notes about this application before you jump right in! 

    First, make sure this sounds like you (because these four things are prereqs for anyone applying to the Z-Suite program):

    • You identify as a woman of color or gender expansive person of color
    • You own at least 51% of the business you are applying to the Z-Suite Accelerator Program with
    • The business you are applying with will be at least two years old at the start of the program, July 1, 2024
    • You work in your business full-time, with no other full-time employment

    Sounds like you? GREAT! Here’s what you’ll need to complete your application:

    • Basic demographic information about both you and your business 
    • An understanding of why you’re excited to be part of the Zora’s House community in general, and this program specifically!
    • Your business’ 2023 annual revenue and projected revenue for the next 12 months
    • The contact information for two professional references. These can include previous landlords or property managers, business partners, suppliers, or even major customers. (No personal references, please!)
    • The following business financial documents are optional but will make your application more competitive: 2023 tax returns, most recent balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement
    • Optional documentation of any insurance, licensure, or compliance relevant to your business or industry. This could include necessary licenses, insurance, and/or permits for the business’s operations, as well as evidence of good standing with regulatory bodies.

    Outside of the prereqs listed above, NOTHING in this application is a deal breaker. If you’ve got a younger business, or you have an eviction on your record, or 2023 was a slower revenue year for you, still shoot your shot, sis! At the end of the application, you’ll have the chance to explain any “weak points” in your application. We promise to evaluate EVERY application fully and see you as a human with human experience, not just a number in a file!

  • By signing this Z-Suite Accelerator Application (which includes private office rental space in Zora's House 2.0), the Applicant (that's you!) accepts and agrees to the following:

    1. This is only an application to rent and does not guarantee that the Applicant will be
      selected as a tenant of the premises.
    2. This application is for a two year program/lease period starting on July 1, 2024 and ending on July 31, 2026.
    3. If selected, the applicant is prepared to remit last month’s rent and a deposit of $500 (total $1,000) due upon signing of the lease (no later than June 3, 2024), and the first month’s rent no later than July 1, 2024.
    4. The Program Manager or Landlord or their authorized Agent will receive multiple rental applications for the program and will only select the most qualified individual
    5. Applicant represents the above information to be true and complete.

    Applicant hereby authorizes the Landlord or Program Manager or their authorized Agent to do the following:

    1. Verify all of the personal information provided above.
    2. Obtain a credit report, as well as other reports, on the Applicant.
