The European Forces Swim League is a Private Organization, organized on Ramstein Air Force base under the installation commander's authorities under AFI 34-223 and DoDI 1000.15.
All adult members must read and acknowledge the EFSL Constitution and Bylaws and agree to abide by the regulations and Code of Conduct.
Membership in the EFSL is voluntary and is open to those defined in §102.4.1 of the EFSL Bylaws and shall consist of two categories: Full and Associate Members
Only members in good standing may attend and participate in EFSL-sponsored activities or functions. To be in good standing members must have completed their membership registration and submitted required background checks and youth protection training as required in §102.6 and Appendix 1.
Full Membership: is available to all parents (or guardians) of registered EFSL swimmers, as well as volunteer and paid adult coaches or officials who serve on a board position or any committees.They must read and acknowledge the Constitution and Bylaws (including the Code of Conduct) and are subject to those documents, including potential liability for any organizational debt incurred on Ramstein AFB in accordance with AFI 34-223.
Associate Membership: is available to volunteer and paid non-parent coaches and officials who serve in support roles to teams. Associate members are not eligible to hold board positions, vote, or sit on any committees. They must read and acknowledge the Constitution and Bylaws (including the Code of Conduct) and they are subject to those documents but are exempt from liability for any organizational debts.
