FREE BASICS / CASICS TRAINING

BASICS is an evidence-based prevention intervention for college students who have had an adverse experience with alcohol use, using a Motivational Interviewing model. CASICS is adapted from BASICS and utilizes this approach to address problematic cannabis use.

Dates: Tuesday June 11, 2024 - Thursday, June 13, 2024

Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm EST each day

Location: 152 Center Lane, Levittown, NY 11756

Organizer: YES Community Counseling Center

Trainees can register for the two day BASICS training and add the optional third day CASICS training. Trainees who have previously attended BASICS training can register for the third day (CASICS) only.
