Our competitive Media Internship workforce development program will help you become highly employable in media production. Through hands-on experience in a community media environment, you'll hone your media production skillset to create demonstrable assets that producers expect to see in today’s creative workforce.

Internship details:
- Public Media Network hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
- Our media internship sessions start in January, May, and late August of each year. There are only four interns accepted to each session.
- Internships are 15 weeks long with a minimum weekly participation of TEN hours, including a structured class time once per week.
- Reliable transportation is strongly encouraged as interns may join us for other productions, live events, or meetings offsite on any given week.
- To exercise this opportunity to its fullest potential, you should be comfortable with operating a camera and editing footage into meaningful video content. We'll provide you with training, gear, and production assistance to help you with our collaborative projects as you further develop valuable skills for the media industry. After 15 weeks, you'll have created a professional reel to demonstrate your media production skills.
- A $500 stipend is offered to interns who complete our 15-week program with a track record of demonstrated success in content production for the media industry.
