By completing this for you are asking Ice Hockey South Australia (IHSA) to commence the process for obtaining a Working With Children Check for you, or you are advising IHSA of your existing WWCC details to link to our system.
IMPORTANT - You will need to have an ESportsDesk account with IHSA membership activated for us to proceed. If you do not have an ESD account, create one before submitting this request.
If you already have a valid WWCC obtained elsewhere, please provide all required information. Without this information we cannot validate and link your check to IHSA.
All results are treated confidentially.
There are a few steps to the process of obtaining a check.
- You provide the information requested below. All details must match your legal identification.
- We submit the request to Department of Human Services (DHS) for processing. Once the request is initiated, we will let you know.
- You will receive an email from Department of Human Services (DHS) with actions to complete to identify yourself to them. (Sometimes this goes to the SPAM folder, so please keep an eye out for it)
- Once you complete step 3, DHS will start your check. The completed check will come to you and the IHSA Secretary who will note your WWCC expiry date in your ESportsDdesk account.
*If your Identification cannot be validated online, you can select for the requesting organisation to validate it. In this instance please contact the IHSA Secretary to arrange a time to show your ID for validation.
**Some participation will not be allowed until your clearance has come back. Sometimes the results of your check can be returned within days, but it can also take weeks.
*** Some factors affect how quickly a check will be completed. Please DO NOT request this check with any expectation of it being returned quickly.
