Department Youth Justice Employment Small Business and Training, Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships along with Elephant in the Room and Gov Ready are working together to create and deliver Small Business workshops for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.

As a part of these workshops we are asking Indigenous Businesses to complete the Gov Ready Pulse Check which is a free readiness assessment tool to assist in ensuring the right content and information is provided to you all.

There are 24 questions in total designed to allow an analysis of 6 main areas which are important when working with government. These are:

• Staff Proficiency
• Partnerships – Internal and External
• Government IQ
• Systems and Processes
• Set for Market
• General

It's important that you answer these questions with what your head is telling you, and not your heart.

Be clinical. Be methodical. Be cold.

The more open and honest your responses are, the more accurate your report will be with more meaningful recommendations.

So when you're ready, go ahead and answer these questions with brutal honesty. It's going to take around 15 to 30 minutes to complete this Pulse Check.
