What’s it like to work at Indie?
•We want you to have the best environment to be able to take care of your clients, so you will have your own custom-cabinetry station with a granite countertop. Each station has ample storage and is equipped with an LED front-lit mirror and hidden hot tool drawer. In addition, you will have your own cabinet in the mixing room to store your haircolor. The lighting at Indie was strategically designed to be neutral and indirect so you never have to worry about toning mishaps. We also have a large reception desk for you to check your clients out. •You will have access to a fully-stocked wax station and infrared Medusa and orbiting halo color processors. We have stand-behind shampoo bowls equipped with head rests and Ecoheads spray nozzles so you can rinse your clients with filtered, deionized water. Your clients will also be able to enjoy a fully-stocked drink/snack bar in the reception area. We have in-salon laundry and shared towels and capes. We also supply color bowls, bottles, wisks & brushes. Moroccanoil backbar shampoo & conditioner as well as styling products are provided for you, if you choose, so you can keep your overhead as low as possible. •Your clients will be able to shop the Moroccanoil retail line at Indie and you will have the opportunity to earn a generous retail commission on all products you sell. Don’t worry if you’ve never used Moroccanoil before-product knowledge education will be available to introduce you to the line. •The stylists who work at Indie Salon value kindness & positivity. We have a culture of inclusivity and support for our fellow stylists and our clients. Providing our clients with a relaxing guest experience where they leave Indie feeling uplifted is our top priority. •As a renter at Indie, you’ll have complete autonomy when it comes to your business. Your schedule, pricing, policies and marketing systems are all up to you! •Booth rent is $490/month. Renting at Indie works best for independently-minded stylists who feel equipped to handle every aspect of owning your own business.
