JWL Membership Scholarship Application

Scholarship applications will be accepted beginning May 15, 2025 until all four partial ($50) membership applications have been awarded. The Strategic Planning Committee will review applications and award scholarships in a timely manner. All applications will be made anonymous so that committee members reviewing the applications will not know the identity of the applicants. **IMPORTANT** Please complete this scholarship application prior to completing the membership application so that we can adjust your payment amount. Other Information/Requirements
Scholarship recipients will not be required to pay partial dues for the year in which the person receives the scholarship. Scholarship recipients may not be members at the Active Sustainer or Patron level, only at the Provisional or General levels. Members who receive scholarships may reapply for a scholarship for future years.

Big Night Out/Spring Fundraiser: As scholarship recipients are not able to buy out any member requirements, they may meet their Big Night Out/Spring Fundraiser requirements by securing sponsorships or silent auction items, selling tickets, or volunteering a total of 4 hours during Big Night Out/Spring Fundraiser. These hours may be satisfied during set up, clean up, or during the event itself. All JWL members may receive a free ticket to Big Night Out/Spring Fundraiser by meeting certain criteria for sponsorship, silent auction donations, or ticket sales. If a scholarship recipient does not receive a free ticket, she will be able to purchase her own ticket to attend Big Night Out/Spring Fundraiser at half price. If the recipient brings a guest, the guest ticket must be purchased at full price.

Scholarship recipients must meet all other volunteer requirements. Buyout options are not available for scholarship recipients. Please see the New Member Information Packet for membership requirements.
