Swimmers Agreement:
Agree
Disagree
Swimmers are expected to attend training on all your specified training sessions, according to your squad.
Swimmers are expected to let the coach know if you are unable to make a session.
Swimmers are expected to train to the best of their ability and be courteous to fellow swimmers.
Swimmers must turn up to training on time and with the mindset to train to the best of their ability.
Swimmers must show a willingness to keep progressing up the squad structure.
Swimmers are expected to be committed to attend regular training sessions. Failure to do so will result in your position in the squad be re-evaluated.
Ensure you do a dryland warm up poolside before the start of training.
Always inform your coach if you are unwell or injured.
Do not compare your training or your times to other swimmers; the only person responsible for your training or your achievements is you.
Give 100% of your best, do not skip sets as you are only cheating yourself.
Always swim to the wall as you do in a race and do turns as instructed. Leave room for other swimmers to do the same, don't block them.
Use common sense when needing to pass a swimmer in your lane (a tap/touch of the swimmers foot).
Swimmers are expected to be respectful of the coach at all times
Attend and compete in the SSI Pennant Competitions
Attend and compete in regular competitions, both Pennant and in club competitions/time trials
If you do not believe you can meet the requirements to be in the squad - please contact the coaching panel to discuss an alternative option.
If you disagreed with any of the above requirements, please explain.
I understand I must meet the commitment and requirements of this squad; I understand it is my responsibility to commit to this squad in order to achieve any potential and progression in my performance.
