A phone and power bank with my emergency contacts saved (Police: 10111, Nedcare: 082 911)
An Emergency Survival Foil Bag to provide shelter and warmth in case of an emergency
Helmet
Front and rear lights, suitable for riding through the night
A navigation device with GPX file loaded + Power bank
A fully charged phone + Power bank
A first aid kit with essential supplies to handle any minor injuries
A multi-tool
Water bottles or a hydration system, up to 5 Litres
Food, supplies for up to 250kms.
A rain jacket/poncho
A suitable jacket and warm clothing
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Cash
Identification documents (ID, insurance card, emergency contact info) in a waterproof pouch
Reflective vest. Must be worn between sunset and sunrise.
Recommended for Safety (a SPOT and/or SOS Device which connects to Satellite with your emergency profile loaded)
