WYDOT NEVI Stakeholder Networking Database
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is releasing federal funding through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations along our interstates. Wyoming has three corridors that were approved for Alternative Fuel Corridor (AFC) designation: I-80, I-25, and I-90.
WYDOT will be seeking applications through a Request for Proposal (RFP) to host, build, own, operate, and maintain the infrastructure, with the station remaining privately owned after the five-year funding program expires. WYDOT will not own or operate any of the EV charging infrastructure. The EV charging infrastructure and project sites will not be located within state-owned right-of-way. The program will pay up to 80% federal cost share of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of $800,000 per site, which includes operations and maintenance. The minimum required match is 20% from non-federal sources.
Your responses to this questionnaire will create a NEVI Database intended for those interested in being part of EV charging station deployment teams. Responses will be publicly available and posted to the WYDOT NEVI website.
