Please note that there are specific eligibility criteria for the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Fellowship at Cuesta College and a limited number of positions available. We appreciate your time and effort to complete this application!
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for serving in partnership with the community to make positive change;
- Flexibility to serve in different areas and adapt to changing circumstances;
- Growth mindset and eagerness to try new things;
- Interest in connecting with and learning from other students and partners across the state;
- Willingness to be an ambassador for the Fellowship on campus and beyond.
- Ability to commit to serving 450 hours over the course of the entire academic year- averaging 10-15 hours per week.
When You Would Serve
- The Cuesta College Corps Fellowship will go from August 2025 -June 2026
What You’ll Do
Fellows will serve within K-12 Education, Food Insecurity, and Climate Action Organizations to build healthier and more equitable communities across California. They will do this in a variety of ways:
- Running outreach and education programs for climate change organizations
- Serving in local schools and facilitating after-school activities, including athletics and tutoring programs
- Supporting and serving within basic-needs organizations

Where You’ll Serve
The Cuesta College Corps Fellowship program offers service positions in local nonprofits and municipal agencies. Some examples of service sites from the previous year:
- SLO Big Brothers Big Sisters (SLO BBBS)
- Cuesta Food Pantry
- CAPSLO 40 Prado
- Atascadero Unified School District
- San Luis Coastal Unified School District
- El Camino Housing Organization (ECHO)
- SLO Botanical Garden
- Velvet Noses Horse Ministry
- Marine Mammal Center
