You can also submit drafts of assignments and get feedback within 8 hours. Both services are available 24/7. All students have access to 10 Studiosity interactions per academic year.

    We provide workshops to all Early Career Researchers encompassing broader research and information literacy skills. We offer a range of sessions which all PhD students (and staff) can attend. Book a space on a programme event. 

     

    Researcher Development Framework (RDF): Information Literacy Skills QMplus Module

    This module is built around the Researcher Development Framework launched by Vitae. It covers literature searching, carrying out a literature review, the Viva and practical tips to help you on your research journey.

    Peer Assisted Study Support

    PASS provides a relaxed, confidential and safe space to to discuss study-related problems in the presence of your peers. Sessions are run by higher year students (Mentors), who are trained to facilitate effective sessions and help you learn best. PASS Mentors are trained to facilitate and guide you to find your own answers; helping you to develop the processes and associated study skills required to succeed in your studies. 

    PASS is available in 14 schools and departments. Sessions are run weekly throughout the semester and are available both in person and online (timetables vary per school). Each scheme has different session times and you can connect with PASS in a number of ways:

    1. Sign up to your QMPlus PASS Page (Search PASS in QMPLUS to find your school or check your UG school landing page).

    2. Keep an eye out for emails from your School's PASS Student Organiser.

    3. Find your schools PASS mentoring session times in the mentees section here, PASS - Peer Assisted Study Support at QMUL - Library Services
