'Open Mic at the Vines'

The following page includes important information for applying performers

Please register your interest in performing by completing the form below by the Friday before the monthly Open Mic. We will certainly do our utmost to include all registered performers, but please note that registration does not guarantee you a place in the program as overall performance time is limited. Time slots allocated will also vary between 2 and 3 items according to the number of performers registered. You will be notified of your inclusion and number of items allocated by Saturday. Date: Last Sunday monthly (except December)

Time: Performances will commence from 12:15pm and be completed by 2:30pm

Location: 235 Oxley Hwy, Port Macquarie NSW 2444

At Douglas Vale, we are keen to foster new talent and provide local artists with a space to perform!

This is your exclusive chance to showcase your talents to the Port Macquarie community, in front of a live audience. Join us for an afternoon of entertainment and enjoyment.

FREE ADMISSION

Complimentary admission is provided for all performers and audience members! Be sure to invite your family and friends to join us for a day filled with excitement and enjoyment!

PERFORMERS

On-stage times per performer will be limited to three (3) segments (ie songs/poems/stories) per set with a rotation of all acts in attendance on the day. Coordinators Tom and Susan will advise you of your performance positioning (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) at your time of arrival at Douglas Vale.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

We are proud to be able to give performers the ability to use our Yamaha BT400 sound system, amplifiers and microphones (handheld wireless mics avaliable). For backing tracks and other requirements, you may connect using Bluetooth (BT), 1/4" jack and XLR. However, you are welcome to bring our own portable equipment on the day!

PUBLIC DISCLOSURE

Douglas Vale Conservation Group agrees to promote this event using their social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook) each month and may use your images and/or video recording snippets to facilitate this promotion. Please advise if you do not wish for your images/recordings to be shared.
