RULES/GUIDELINES FOR COMPETING

• Each contestant must be a natural born male using the prefix Mr. He should not be married or divorced nor be a father to any children.

• Contestant must be South African Citizen and not younger than 20 years old and not older than 34 years old on the date of the Finale.

• The entry fee of R450 must be paid before submitting this form.

• Photos and footage submitted by contestants will be used for promotional purposes (within the legal prescripts).

• All funds/fees/charity contributions/donations paid are not refundable under any circumstances. 

• This form must be accompanied by:

  (a) a copy of proof of payment with a reference number

  (b) 2 full colour photos (1 full length and 1 head & shoulders )

• The proof of payment, and the two full colour photos can also be emailed to info@mistersupranational.co.za

• Applicant’s images, photos, footage will be used on broadcasting channels for promotional purposes (as per our media partnership agreements with various channels).

• All applicants agree to use the hashtags of all the sponsors as will be provided by the organisers.

• Applicant may not have any criminal records or be involved in anything illegal.
• On completion of this document applicants agree to not discolsing any confidential information to third parties and agree to not engage with event sponsors or supporters unless approval is gained in writing from the organisation.

• Failure to adhere to the rules will result in automatic disqualification of an applicant.

I hereby consent and grant the Mister Supranational Organisation, its partners, sponsors, affiliates and broadcasters the right to:

• Make any audio or visual or audio-visual recording of my performance, interview or other event that might take place in respect of my entrance into Mister Supranational and grant them an indefinite right to broadcast or print any such performance, interview and/or event at any time.
• Do any and all necessary background checks, vetting, psychological screening and resilience testing as part of the selection process to verify information provided to the Organisation for the purposes of the competition and to confirm that I am an upstanding citizen worthy of representing the country.
• I agree to complete questionnaires as part of the Mister Supranational competition psychological assessment process and further grant permission for the assessment team to share the result with the production team.
• I further agree that all rights, title and interest in and to any photographs, pictures and/or other graphic mediums (‘the visuals’) provided to the Mister Supranational Organisation shall vest in the Mister Supranational Organisation in perpetuity.
• By participating, I agree to be bound by the rules and the decisions of the Mister Supranational Organisation and/or the voting audience and/or the selection committee, which shall be final and binding.
• I agree to make myself available for press conferences, events, special occasions or when the Mister Supranational Organisation requires my attendance.
• I will do my best to promote the Mister Supranational initiative and ensure my conduct during and after the final event is unbecoming of a Mister Supranational entrant at all times.

I hereby warrant that I have truthfully and accurately completed all forms relating to my application, that I have not withheld any information requested of me and that by submitting this form and supplying the answers and information requested of me by the Mister Supranational Organisers (or any associated company) or an entity appointed by the Mister Supranational Organisers, I have in no way been misleading or untruthful. Furthermore, I acknowledge that the Mister Supranational Organisers reserve the right exercisable at any time at its sole discretion to disqualify me from the competition should I at any stage omit to supply any information reasonably requested of me, supply untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details or information, or otherwise be in breach of the terms contained herein.

We know that you care about how information about you is gathered and shared and we appreciate your trust in us to do this carefully and responsibly. We respect your privacy and accordingly, ensure that the way we process your Personal Information complies fully with POPI ACT and have implemented reasonable organizational and technical controls as a result.

In the event that we transfer or store your Personal Information outside South Africa. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that the third party who receives your Personal Information is subject to a law or binding agreement that provides an adequate level of protection.

What personal data do we process and why?

• As a matter of principle, Mister Supranational Organisation only processes personal data that you have submitted to us. Typically this data is limited to your contact information, identity information, usage information, the general questions included in your Mister Supranational 2024 entry form and communications information.
• We process the Personal Information we collect and receive to: identify you, verify your identity, create a user account for you, submit your entry into the Mister Supranational competition, provide services to you and/or enter
  into a contract with you.

I hereby consent and grant the Mister Supranational Organisation, its partners, sponsors, affiliates and broadcasters the right to:

• The collection, processing and storing, use and transfer within South Africa and cross-border outside South Africa, of my information, personal information and data as may be collected in relation to my application process and participation in the competition.
• Distribute any personal information or details when in the legitimate interest of the Organiser’s business interests and sharing certain details and personal information in order to position me in the Mister Supranational competition program, including sharing such information with auditors, producers and the selection committee.
