WHEN WE PROVIDE ASSISTANCE
BOOST is designed to help eligible teachers in times of emergency or financial crisis. An emergency situation or crisis would be when expenses/bills are due or overdue and fall within one of the following catergories:
Home: Overdue bills relating to:
- mortgage payments
- rent payments
- utilities
- necessary home repairs
Transportation (up to $750)
- overdue car payments
- necessary vehicle repairs
- down payments
- overdue car insurance payments
Medical
- overdue medical bills for self, spouse or children under 18 years old living in the home
- medically necessary dental work
- prescription assistance
Food Insecurity
WHO CAN SUBMIT
- business owners or multi-site managers
WHO CAN RECEIVE SUPPORT
- Private preschool teachers
- Assistant Directors (we will require that the teacher in need spend at least 50% of their time in the classroom for them to be eligible for Boost assistance)
- Teacher in need must be employed by the submitting center for at least 90 days and in good standing.
PROOF/ DOCUMENTATION
Our review team at Boost requires that the monetary amount you request in assistance be substantiated with current bills. Your application will not be reviewed until all proof of bills is provided.
- Appropriate documentation would include the payor's name, amount due and date which the bill was due.
Application Limitations: A single business owner may submit 8 applications per year, regardless of the outcome of said applications. Boost administration reserves the right to temporarily suspend a business owner’s right to submit applications and request a business consultation before proceeding or allowing further requests for support.
