Let's Get a New Skatepark!

The Orillia Skateparkers have been lobbying for a new Skatepark since 2018. In 2022, The City of Orillia started the design process and now have a finalized rendering designed by Newline Skateparks, the most prolific skatepark builder in Canada. The location of the Skatepark will be the Orillia Recreation Centre. At this time, the project is to be discussed during the 2026 Budget Meeting and is an UNFUNDED PROJECT. The City of Orillia Recreation and Youth Services Divison is applying for a grant and is using our petition to show community support for this project. Additional signatures will be part of our submission to the City of Orillia in their bid for the grant.
