The following form and personal information within is required for participation in all 2025 Pride Parade events as a rider, passenger, or marshal. The personal information provided will only be used for the purposes of the Parade and for no other purpose, unless you otherwise specifically provide us with your consent.

By signing this release and indemnity, I hereby:

1. Voluntarily agree to participate in the Winnipeg Pride Parade as part of the Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada riding group.
   
   
2. If operating a motorcycle – I confirm I am at least 18 years of age and possess a valid class 6L, 6I, or 6F license and valid motorcycle insurance.
   
   
3. If a passenger on a motorcycle – I confirm I am at least 16 years of age.
   
   
4. Confirm that I am an experienced motorcycle rider or passenger for the purposes of the Pride Parade ride and that I have read and understood the following Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada Parade Code of Conduct:
   
   
   1. Anti-Harassment – All participants will maintain an environment free from harassment; all individuals are to be treated with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
      
      
   2. Safety – Unsafe riding or behavior while participating in this sanctioned ride will not be tolerated. Such actions will result in your immediate removal from the parade as instructed by a Road Captain. Unsafe riding is defined but not limited to:
      
      
      1. Riding or driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
      2. Trick riding
      3. Excessive speeds
      4. General recklessness
      5. Poor control of motorcycle
      6. Negligence
         
         Unsafe behavior includes, but is not limited to, criminal activities, fighting, violence, intimidation tactics, verbal assault, yelling, or acting out physically and will result in your immediate ejection from the event at the discretion of the designated Road Captains.
         
         
   3. Respect – All participants are to be respectful at all times and never representthe organization in a way that goes against or offends the ethics, traditions, and mission of Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada; or brings discredit or harm to the reputation of the organization.
      
      
5. Accept all risks of injury, loss, damage or liability arising out of or in any way related to any 2025 Pride Parade as part of the Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada riding group, whether such injury, loss, damage or liability results from my actions, the actions of another participant, or the actions of a Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada member;
   
   
6. Release Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada and all of its members from any and all liability for loss, damage, or injury caused or contributed to by Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada or in any way arising out of any 2025 Pride Parade event, whether arising out of contract, common law, or statute law;
   
   
7. Acknowledge that during the Parade event I shall at all times follow the directions of the Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada Road Captains and Officers;
   
   
8. Agree to indemnify, and keep indemnified, Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada from and against all loss, damage, injury, or liability (including liability for costs) caused by or contributed to by me or in any way arising out of my acts or omissions, including but not limited to any of my actions which fall outside the Code of Conduct established by Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada and its Officers.
   
   
9. Acknowledge that during the Parade event, Dykes on Bikes Winnipeg, Canada is not responsible for items and personal property left unattended by you.

By signing below, I acknowledge having read and understood the terms and conditions of this Waiver of Liability, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein and acknowledge that I may be waiving certain legal rights by doing so.
