Comes with fake upper eyelashes, black lace crown, butterflies in her hair and on her wrist, pendent necklace with a real bird skull, and bouquet of fake flowers and dusty pink wheat. Artist is depicting the duality of the doll’s life and soul, with the darker right side representing the part of her that is Queen of the Underworld and the lighter left side representing the part that is the Goddess of spring, summer, and all things growing.

Artist sculpted the doll with Super Sculpey clay, baked it, and made a mold using layers of silicone before adding another mold over the silicone mold for stability. Platinum silicone was then poured into the cleaned mold to make the blank doll. Hair and lashes are special mohair from Sarah Silk. Artist hand-rooted the mohair into a swirl pattern using rooting needles from Heavenly Illusions (color red). Doll wears newborn-sized clothes and diapers. Has armature in her arms and legs, making her realistically posable.

The back of her hair is tied into five long braids with long, colorful ribbons that hang out of her headscarf. Has a full armature that allows for moving and posing of head and limbs.

Cotton shirt and pants. Apron and hat made with silver heat-reflective fabric. Cheesecloth fabric for scarf. Hand-colored silk wings. Accessories are a cardboard bellows made of chamois with metal studs and a glass cauldron with resin, expanding foam, battery-operated lights, glitter, pipe cleaners, wooden spoon, glass bottle, and plastic funnel mounted on a wooden stand. Head and hands were first sculpted in clay to be rendered in porcelain medium. Handcrafted and hand-painted in porcelain kiln-fired paint to give the character a lifelike look.
