    1. Where are you located?

    We are an online, home-based bakery located in Bridgeport, CT. Please note that our location is not open to the public.


    2. What are your business hours?

    Pickup Hours

    Please note that our pickup hours may vary based on weekly production volume and scheduled events. Exact pickup times will be confirmed at the time your order is placed. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.


    Hours may vary during holidays.


    3. Can I stop by to purchase something?

    Sorry to disappoint! Dulcini is a home-based food operation and we work by appointment only. All items are made to order—we do not have ready-made products available for walk-ins.


    4. How do I inquire or place an order?

    Please fill out and submit our Custom Cake Order Form. You will receive a response with a quote or a design appointment within 48 to 72 hours.

    We will be contacting you through Instagram DM to confirm your order details, please keep an eye on your inbox. 

    5. Do you need advance notice for orders?

    Yes! We require:

    At least 2 weeks' notice for all custom orders
    At least 3 weeks' notice for wedding cakes
    This allows us to prioritize your design and deliver quality work.


    6. Can I choose more than one cake flavor?

    Yes! You may choose one flavor per tier of your cake.


    7. Can I pick up my cake?

    Yes! Pick-up is available for single-tier and small two-tier cakes.
    We strongly recommend delivery for larger or more delicate cakes.

    Important Pick-Up Guidelines:

    Be on time. You have a 10-minute window to collect your cake.
    A $20 fee will apply for every 10 minutes past your pick-up time.
    Late fees must be paid in full before the cake is released.
    If you arrive early, please wait until your scheduled time.

    8. Do you deliver? What is the cost?

    Yes, we offer delivery on Saturdays only.

    Delivery fees are based on mileage and time.
    The minimum delivery charge is $50.

    9. What if I need to change my date or cancel?

    We understand that plans change!

    If your new date is available, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
    We cannot guarantee availability for the new date.
    All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
    If we are fully booked, your deposit will be forfeited.


    10. Do you accommodate food allergies or sensitivities?

    Dulcini operates in a kitchen that uses:
    Nuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, dairy, gluten, and sugar.
    While we follow strict food handling policies, we do not recommend our products for those with severe allergies.


    11. Should I refrigerate my cake?

    Cakes can be refrigerated for up to 2 hours before serving.
    Allow cakes to come to room temperature on a flat, sturdy surface.
    Keep cakes in a cool, air-conditioned space and out of direct sunlight.
    Whipped cream cakes and fruit-filled cakes should be kept refrigerated at all times.

    12. Can you recreate an exact cake from a photo?

    We will use your inspiration photo to create a Dulcini-style interpretation.
    While we do not create exact replicas, we promise to craft something unique and beautiful just for you!
