Singing Camp Registration
Thank you for your interest in Oakwood's singing camps. This will be summer you will never forget!

Classes will include singing technique and coaching, arts & crafts, musical theatre and opera repertoire, and acting coaching and games. No experience in ANY of these areas is necessary.

Staff is led by Kristina Prozesky, a performer and curriculum developer with over 30 productions under her belt, from opera to musical theatre.

Masterclass: June 9-13, 10am-3pm

Opera Camp: Hansel & Gretel: August 4-8

Times: 10am-3pm with performance at 2pm Friday

Where: Community Church of Atascadero (school-year location of Oakwood Enrichment Academy).

How much? $270 per student

The Masterclass will be a small group format where singers will study individual solo pieces and audition cuts for a final performance at the end of the week. Students will also learn the Hansel & Gretel chorus for OperaSLO's October production.

Opera Camp will feature deep study of the opera Hansel & Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck, with set making, music study & storytelling. Camp will conclude with a "mini opera" featuring children in all roles. Character music is modified for children, but we will also learn the Hansel & Gretel chorus for OperaSLO's October production, straight from the original score.
