Agreement:
Both parties agree to enter into a formal tenancy agreement, which will comprehensively outline all terms and conditions. The agreement will be binding upon signing and will serve as the authoritative document governing the tenancy arrangement.
Bookings:
To secure a room in the Student House, bookings must be made between 6 and 8 weeks in advance. No room is confirmed until payment has been received by Aussie House. All bookings for the Student House require a minimum commitment of 8 weeks, with an initial payment covering 4 weeks of stay, 4 weeks of utilities, and a 3-week bond.
Bond & Utilities:
The TENANT must pay a bond of $500 to the HEAD TENANT. Additionally, utilities will be charged weekly.
Refund Policy:
Upon vacating the premises, the bond refund will be processed within 7 business days, provided all terms of the tenancy agreement have been met. This includes returning the property in the same condition as at the start of the tenancy, with allowances for fair wear and tear. The refund will also consider any outstanding utility costs, such as electricity, water, and other agreed-upon bills, which will be calculated and deducted from the bond to cover expenses up to the last day of the tenancy agreement.
